Geelong week by Skandia (Australia Day)

We went to Geelong by V-Line train late morning, got there about lunch time so we decided to have lunch at Smorgy's restaurant (Cunningham Pier). After filled our tummy up we walked along the pier and got some nice shots to share with family and friends.

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới (Happy New Year)

"Chúc Mừng Năm Mới" (Vietnamese), "Kong Hei Fat Choi!" (Cantonese), "Gong Xi Fa Chai" (Mandarin) or Happy Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year Festival 2009 - the Year of Ox. As the Chinese use the Lunar calendar for their festivals the date of Chinese New Year changes from year to year, and this year fall on Monday 26th January.

Celebration along Victoria street in Richmond today. Here are some shots I took.

Farewell my friend, Yoshi

It has been beautiful weather in Melbourne since last week. One day the temperature was up to 41 degree but it was still ok, wasn't as hot as some tropical countries though. Today was another beautiful day, sunny and blue sky. One of our friends Yoshi is leaving Melbourne and going back home in Tokyo soon. We went to the city and had lunch in a restaurant on Bourke St, then spent sometime in the city and had few photo shots together.
